What are you looking for in my application?
We want to see that you have experience writing high-quality articles for humans and that you have a basic understanding of SEO. You need impeccable grammar, and your portfolio should show work from a range of B2B industries and use cases. Bonus points if you can show us an article comparing products or speaking to specific B2B SaaS tools.
How many articles can I expect to write?
Our writers have the ability to write up to 12 articles per month. There is no need to write that many if you’d prefer to work on fewer. Our team works with you to establish your preferred workload so that you can avoid burnout and achieve the work-life balance that works best for you.
How much can I expect to make per article?
The length of the article ultimately determines the amount our writers make and that varies greatly between keyword targets and industries. We can tell you that on average our writers make $.15/word, which works out to $200 to $400 per article.
How often will I get paid?
As a writer, you can expect to be paid monthly. Once approved for the writer network, you can enquire about the exact date to expect your first payment.
Are there any fees associated with being a part of the Ten Speed Writer Network?
None. We do not charge writers a monthly fee to be a part of the network, nor do we take a percentage of your earnings - it’s completely free to be a part of.
Do I have to be based in the United States?
Nope. We just ask that you’re honest about your ability to write clearly in English as that’s the primary language for our clients’ websites.
Do you pay more for writers with technical expertise?
Yes! If you have a background in engineering, computer science, or AI/ML and can write technical content in these areas, be sure to let us know on your application.
Do you only need writers for SEO?
No, we also work with freelancers for original research reports, thought leadership, email newsletter copy, website copy (think product pages), and social media copy. If have experience with these formats, note that in your application.
